Behind the Scenes
Hello! I’m Caroline Alsina, the founder and owner of Bouquets & Backdrops. I am a student at The Madeira School in McLean Virginia. During the school year Bouquets & Backdrops is based in McLean, VA and during the summer and the Maryland Stay at Home Order is based in Annapolis, MD.
At Bouquets & Backdrops, we take craftsmanship seriously. Every flower is handcrafted mindfully with precision.

Bouquets & Backdrops started when my mom approached me to make a May Day basket for her with paper flowers. Using her business’s colors, I made over 125 individual flowers and assembled the arrangement. I have an extreme passion for this. Creating these paper flower arrangements and bouquets brings me joy and hopefully, it will bring others joy as well.

I run my shop through Etsy. All that means is that when you press the buy now button, you'll be directed to my Etsy page for the product!
From my hands to yours
Once a custom order is placed, it can take anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks for me to assemble the arrangement. The simpler the order, the sooner it will be shipped and the more complex the order, it will take longer for it to be shipped.

Most bouquets and potted plants are premade and will take 1 to 3 days to be shipped.
Shipping times will vary depending on location.
Shipping prices will also vary from order to order, the smaller the order the cheaper shipping will be.
Bouquets & Backdrops ships everywhere in the continental US.
Returns, Exchanges, and Cancellations
Returns
I will accept returns but cannot refund money. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the customer is responsible for any loss in value.

Exchanges
Contact me within 14 days of delivery and ship items back within 30 days of delivery. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and shipping cost of the item exchanged for. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the customer is responsible for any loss in value.

Cancellations
I do not accept cancellations but if you need to edit your order, such as change a color or flower type, please contact me within 48 hours of placing your order.
